Another first for Rob and I was our first Christmas together. I am hoping that this was the first of many more to come.

This was probably the best Christmas I've had in a LONG time. I got to spend it with the most incredible man I've ever met. And on top of that I got to spend it with my little boy. The past few years while I was living in California my son was living here in Illinois with my parents. Having a little one means you have to be up early to see his face Christmas morning and to be there to watch him open his surprises from Santa. And Rob was right there with me at 5:00 am. I know...he's incredible. :)
The day went really well. While Tyler opened his gifts from Santa we opened our stockings from "Santa". We had already opened our Christmas presents the night before. We had a delicious home cooked meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes and vegetables. We ate ourselves into a food coma like we did on Thanksgiving. Then took a much needed food induced nap. It was a simple day. But it was the best.
