Michigan Sept. 2010: Part 4

Our last day in Michigan was just as good as the rest of them were. We started out the day by going to breakfast..and it was DELICIOUS.

After breakfast we went for a drive around Big Rapids. We stopped at Hungerford Lake and took some pictures.

We also stopped at the Highbanks Park which is along the Muskegon River.

I really love this picture I took of Rob!

Our final stop before heading back to the house was Clear Lake. It was gorgeous. I get pretty excited every time I see lily pads. And this lake had a bunch of them.

I also want to mention that the Fall colors in Michigan are amazing. I saw colors on trees that I didn't know where possible. Gold, red, bright orange, yellow! It looked like a rainbow had literally exploded all around us.

Here are a few more photos we took back at the house.

The apple orchard next door to Kirt and Cora's house.

Me and the pup :)

Before heading home to Chicago-land we stopped at Arby's for a bite to eat. Rob ended up getting into an argument with some lady..which was hilarious. But I will save that story for another time. :) We also went and watched Kirt and Cora's son Desmond at his soccer game. That was a lot of fun. For me the highlights of our trip was being able to explore new territory I have never seen with Rob. Driving down the coast with him, listening to my favorite band Journey while holding his hand in the car. Climbing up to the top of two lighthouses. Waking up next to him and just being with him was the best part of it all. I love you Rob! You are an incredible person. Thanks for allowing me to experience it all with you!
