Rob and I just got back from another mini trip to Michigan. And like always we had an amazing time! We did so much that I am going to split this blog entry into four parts.
I'd like to start off by saying..my boyfriend is amazing. He has taken me to places I never thought I would get to experience. He has shown me places I didn't know existed. What I mean by that is..who knew that turquoise colored water existed in places other than the Caribbean? I never knew that. I also never knew that trees turned bright shades of orange and gold and red that you only see in movies.
The first full day that we were in Michigan Rob went golfing with his best bud Kirt. So I stayed at the house and hung out with Kirt's son Devin. We decided to take a walk around their hometown, Howard City. Here are some of the photos I took while on our walk.
While we were out we came across a vegetable field. I'm not even sure what was growing there but Devin thought he should take photos of me in the field even though we were totally trespassing ;) I agreed...and I'm glad I did because the photos came out really good! Thanks Devin!
We found an old abandoned house while we were walking around and the door happened to be unlocked. That is where this awesome photo was taken!
When we got back to the house Rob and Kirt were home from playing golf. So I decided I wanted to take some more photos since it was such a nice day outside. This first photo is of Devin and Rob.
And here is an adorable photo I took of Kirt and Cora's dog Kiya :) Is this not the cutest picture ever??
Later that afternoon Rob and I went to this really pretty river right by the house. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of it but I got some awesome photos there. Here are my favorites.
For dinner Rob cooked us all one of his gourmet meals which consisted of stuffed chicken breast with bacon and feta cheese. And baked potatoes. Yum!
Read part 2 and 3 to see where we went on our mini road trip! =)
